1. Ocracoke Island, North Carolina was voted #1 Beach in America last year (2007). It is part of the Eastern National Seashore.
2. Seven Spirit Bay, Australia is a remote jungle beach and jungle area that is home to some of Australia's last Aboriginal tribes that still live in a traditional manner.
3. The Tiwi islands in Australia has a beach that must be reached by 4-wheel drive; once there, you will experience an awesome beach on the Timor Sea.
4. I'm partial to Calif. beaches. Santa Monica, Huntington Beach, Malibu and where I went as a kid, Santa Cruz.
5. Oregon has some nice beaches. Newport, Manzanita, Seaside. Not as warm there as in Calif. But on a nice day, they are great.
6. Flamenco Beach, Culebra, Puerto Rico.....known as one of the best beaches in the world. The sand is perfect and there's a reef on one side of the beach that you can explore.
