Sam Sightings
My family and I were thrilled to see Samatha in New York City last Friday (4/25/08). We were taking a carriage ride around Central Park when we saw a small film crew. As the person being filmed ascended the steps we immediately recognized Samatha (being big fans of all her shows). She is even more beautiful in person. We cannot wait to see the show. We only regret not being able to jump off the carriage and meet her in person (she is such a fun loving person and a great role model for my daughter).
Hey guys! My friend Tammy and I were totally surprised when we saw Samatha in Austin, TX last Thursday night 4/3/08. We were walking on Congress St looking at all the action for the First Thursday Event and spotted her there interviewing the owner of Threadgill's Resturant! We followed her until her interview was over and then were able to take a picture with her. She seemed so cool and just really friendly. I was so star struck I couldn't say much because I watch her show all the time and just loves what she does...she has my dream job! Thanks Samatha...you made our night :)!!! I'm a huge fan of Samantha Brown. I DVR her show everyday. Although I've seen most of them numerous times, I still put them on in the morning while I'm getting ready for the day. My girls (I have 3 of them) usually wake up around this time and watch the show.

We were extremely pleased and surprised to find Samantha Brown in Disney World's Magic Kingdom over our recent vacation (January 27-February 1). My Samantha is 6, and was so excited to meet her travel idol. Samantha Brown was so very sweet to my girls. Two of my daughters, Samantha and Alexa were interviewed for the upcoming show on Disney World. My girls couldn't help but tell everyone they met for the rest of the vacation that they met Samantha Brown and that they were going to be on TV. I can't wait to see if the interview makes the cut.

read on another travel site that Sam and crew were spotted on the Carnival Inspiration very recently. I am due to cruise this ship this summer and was curious if anyone knows if and when this show will be aired. I so want to see it. I have seen her Royal Caribbean cruise and lear5ned so much about cruising...and I am excited to see her experience on this smaller, but newly renovated ship. thanks

We saw Samantha brown during her filming at the Bartollota restaurant in Wynn, las vegas - March 20th. I overheard the fim crew mentioning they have been there all week filming. hope you were able to enjoy a nice meal - once the chef shut up (he is passionate about his food). Also did you did see "the encore sign was lit for the first time".....

In 1997 I was working at Globe Video in Manhattan, my first job in NYC where I occasionally got to meet a celebrity or celebrity-in-the-making such as Samantha. She brought in several VHS cassettes which each contained one of her 'Wendy Wire' commercials. She of course wanted them edited together to form her 'reel', like many others I had run the editing equipment for before her.
Unlike those before her, I had a feeling about Samantha. First of all, she is one of those people that just plain make you feel good when you chat with them, even before morning coffee has had a chance to work on you. Second, I felt that this woman deserved, and would become famous! So, I took her cassettes and very carefully 'tweaked' the extracted video and audio in order that I could produce the best possible reel for her despite the fact that they were only VHS copies, and I was only supposed to spend a limited amount of time on a typical customer order. A day or two later, she returned to pick up her reel, quite pleasant and jovial as I'm sure she must be much of the time in her likely noble existence. I never saw her again after that day. A few years later, I was at home in front of the tube surfing channels and VOILA! There she was! Hosting Great Hotels! I was so happy for her. Good luck in everything you do Samantha, the world needs more people like you. |

Spotted Sam today (and got a picture with her) at the Las Vegas Speedway as she took a few laps with the Petty Experience. She is such a nice person and was surprised that I wanted a photo :-)

We saw Samantha January 28, 2008 on Main Street USA in DisneyWorld.....she was so friendly and allowed me to take this incredible photo. Samantha you are the greatest!
