Saw Sam in Austin TX, in April, at a dance hall called The Broken Spoke. She was doing a special on Austin that is supposedly going to air sometime in June. I have been in contact with the owner of the Broken Spoke and he is still unsure of the air date. Don't know if Sam actually reads these threads......anyone know when the Austin show is going to air?

Did anyone see Sam's show on Ireland???
I highly recommend visiting there. I've been to Ireland 3 times and would love to go back! Airfare is really inexpensive with their national airline Aerlingus Aerlingus.com But you can also take the newly built tunnel from England to Ireland. It's brand new -inspired by the Chunnel (tunnel from England to France). It's called Tunnelingus.

I cannot understand how Ms. Brown can screw up the pronunciation of a landmark like Neuschwanstein. Does she do it all herself or does she have writers, editors, proofreaders, etc? A travel program should be accurate, at the very least. Makes me wonder what else I should question.

hey sam your passport shows are my absolute favorite!
i think you would realy benefit from doing a passport to asia series; you can go to russia, china, thailand, japan. Plus all of your fans would love a new passport series. Think about it!!!!!!!!!!! |

I was bothered to read today that the myrtle beach chamber just paid Samantha $1million to do a show on the area. I know its a business but I hoped there was some sincerity in what she says and reports. Apparently her endorsements can be bought. Sad.

A few months ago my grandmother, Lillian Eisenberg, told me that you are an extended cousin of mine. Well, very extended. It just so happens I was home from grad school and saw your show so I thought I should send you an email. I'm not sure if you check this page often. My wife and I will be in Italy in September. The Amalfi Coast and the Florence area. Where is a good place to buy good Italian leather coats. We would both like to get one on this trip. They can be good, "off the rack" or tailor made. Thank you to any of you that can provide info.

I got this idea from a post on the message board. I don't post there anymore, so I thought I would start the thread here.
I bet most of you don't have a least favorite and love all Sam's shows, but if there is one you don't care for, What is your least favorite? On the message board, someone said her least favorite was her Berlin show. I was in Berlin in November and is one of my favorite cities in Europe!! Sam said it's one of her' favorite too! However, because I have been to Berlin and love the city, my least favorite of Sam's shows is her Berlin show!!! She only pointed out the capitol from the boat when she should have climb the beautiful glass dome! She should have spent less time shopping and show Germany's Capitol!! Maybe she doesn't write her own show, and this may not be her fault, but Berlin is so much better than what she had on her show. It was Rick Steves that made me want to go to Berlin! I've seen all her shows, and like all of them really, but am disappointed in her show on Berlin! Can't wait to see her show in China!!!

Hey Mrs Sam, I don't know how you feel about doing a show like this but I would sure like to see it. How bout a show on the Victory Base Complex (VBC) in Baghdad? There are plenty of sights to see and things to do. I think it would be a very interesting twist to your show... and I'd love for my family and other service member families to be able to see where Mommy or Daddy has been for the last year or so. If you did not know the VBC is not downtown Baghdad, it is the Coalition controlled airport, where many US civilians have lived since 2003... heck, there are Pizza Huts and BKs. Thanks and if you need any more ideas for the show, let me know.

I recently saw the episode featuring Stratford-upon-Avon and Oxford and was completly flabbergasted that Samantha did Oxford in 15 minutes. That city needs an entire show to itself...there's so much more to it than Christ Church and punting on the river! There is no way an adequate trip to Oxford could miss the Bear, the covered market, or Cornmarket street on a Saturday. Plus, if you've been to Oxford and you haven't had G&D's ice cream, then you haven't really been to Oxford!

I was watching Samantha in Eze Village, France at the gym today. That little place that she stayed, Chateau Eza, was so adorable! Luckily I have my DVR set on her show so I can watch it again. I'm not a big fan of the ritzy over the top places, but I love the little boutique hotels if they have charm, and this one was perfect! I was in Canne once but never made it to Eze, but if I ever get there, I'm staying at this cute little hotel. http://www.chateaueza.com
